Not that it should come as any surprise to anyone that reads this, we are not goign to update this blog anymore.

Chronicoling the big man just in pictures and, well, just taking care of him is a time consuming endeavour. The advent of Facebook and the ability to share info and pictures much easily through it has spelled the doom of poopsleeprepeat.com, sad but true.

Kelli and I post a great deal of Ben photos on there so drop us a line if you want, we’ll always be here.

The Summer of Ben

As summer comes to a close, we have a lot of catching up to do. Ben’s milestones are coming fast and furious now. He is clmbing steps now and can pull himself up on everything (and is learning to fall down!) This past weekend we had dinner over at the Place’s house and he met his new friend James and (possible) future girlfriend Ella Calkins. She was so cute though, she may be out of his league already. Plans were to also go to his first Spartan football game but the weather did not cooperate.

Mom and Dad are learning a lot as days go by too. Learning how to be completely selfless sometimes is not an easy thing to do. Especially when the times that you most need to are not the times that you always feel like it. Thank God we found a great daycare for Ben that we both love. It’s difficult being working parents and we have a place that we know likes having him there as much as we know he likes going.

We had a lot of great weekends but one of the best was spent at Papa’s over Labor Day Weekend. Thanks to Brian and Nikki Brumme for the use of their camera. I am inspired to upgrade my gear now. Best Buy here I come!

Ben crawled today!

It wasn’t much, only about 5 feet or so, but it was really cool to see. Hopefully, I’ll get some good crawling footage that I can get up here before he starts walking as it doesn’t seem like that’s too far off.
